Sasha L. Stewart

Sasha L. Stewart is an award-winning occupational therapist, educator, and speaker recognized for her transformative contributions to rehabilitation and healthcare advocacy. She holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine and has received the prestigious Gordon Cressy Leadership Award for her outstanding impact in professional practice and community engagement. She is also a recipient of the Health Equity and Advocacy Award from Canada Legacy Honors, celebrating her dedication to inclusion, social impact, and advancing meaningful change in healthcare.

Sasha is the owner and founder of IM-OT Inc., a successful rehabilitation company in the Greater Toronto Area, where she leads a diverse team dedicated to delivering high-quality, client-centered care.

Sasha is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and is an active member in good standing with both the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT) and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT). She has pursued advanced clinical training at internationally recognized institutions, including Emory University School of Medicine, where she developed expertise in Vestibular Rehabilitation, and the University of Southern California, where she completed specialized education in chronic pain and headache management. She is also certified by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) to practice in the United States and is a registered member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Passionate about mentorship and equity in healthcare, Sasha has served as an advisor for the Rehabilitation Sciences Sector Diversity Mentorship Program Temerty, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. In this role, she supported learners from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds in reaching their full potential as students and future healthcare professionals. She is also Co-Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force for the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists, where she works collaboratively to address racism, systemic oppression, and social inequities within and beyond the profession.

Driven by a dedication to excellence and social impact, Sasha combines her clinical expertise, entrepreneurial vision, and advocacy to transform the field of rehabilitation. She champions innovative practices, develops inclusive health and wellness environments, and empowers both clients and professionals to achieve their full potential.
