Wendy Edwards is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with more than 22 years of experience in nursing spanning from critical care, rehabilitation, long-term care, and case management. She has built her career on a strong foundation of clinical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
Wendy completed her Master of Science in Nursing and Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner program at York University. Her career includes over a decade of intensive care practice with William Osler Health System, where she provided advanced critical care and served as a Critical Care Response Team member. Transitioning to a Nurse Practitioner role, Wendy has focused on supporting long-term care residents, reducing unnecessary hospital visits, and leading outreach teams to improve community-based care. She has also contributed her expertise to West Park Healthcare Centre, Carecor Health Services, Sunnybrook Hospital, and internationally at Shaikh Khalifa Medical Centre in Abu Dhabi.
Wendy is an active member of the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and has a professional membership with the Nurse Practitioners’ Association of Ontario (NPAO). She continues to engage in professional development through conferences, workshops, and leadership opportunities. Wendy is deeply committed to client advocacy, interprofessional collaboration, and advancing excellence in nursing practice through mentorship.
